We previously knew that the new Pope is from Chicago and that he’s a huge baseball fan – of the White Sox unfortunately, owners of the worst season record in MLB history, and thus in need of papal intervention. Now we know with that one-handed, elegant little catch that he must’ve played baseball a few times.

Perhaps Major League Baseball (MLB) should hold the next All Stars game in Rome or Chicago and invite this guy to throw out the first pitch. He’d likely do a lot better than most of the celebs and politicians they normally choose.
