Is it awful to notice that attacks against jews has increased as jews increase attacks against their neighbours?
There have been tens of thousands of attacks on Jews since 1948, but I don’t think there were any upticks after that, or after the wars of 1956, 1967, 1973, or the Lebanon fights of 1982.
You could argue that the 1972 Olympics massacre of Israeli athletes was a reaction to 1967, but aside from it’s very public aspect, from the POV of regular, day-to-day attacks on Jews in the West Bank, Gaza and Israel itself, it doesn’t stand out.
No, what’s different about the attacks of the last twenty five years is that they’re increasingly happening in the West, first in Europe, now in America.
And the correlating event tied with that is not the wars or attacks that Israel has waged in that time, but the massive inflows of Islamic immigrants into the West, and the slow shift of the Western mainstream Left into things like post-colonial theory, critical race theory, etc.
