NZ leader of the House has scheduled the debate on Privileges Committee Decision over the Natives disruption of Parliament resumption this afternoon to be continued past the normal week end recess at 1800 hrs today into the evening and if necessary to continue tomorrow Friday if the well predicted “Filibuster” tactic is to be continued by Labour, Melons and Maori Party.
This will mean that the overweaning attempt to prolong the matter will impact the MPs directly and it will be somewhat interesting to see how committed they really are?

Chris Bishop has really stepped up with his handling of this. I cannot help but wonder if it is of his own initiative or he has someone behind the scenes giving him very good advice.
Sure as hell won’t be PM Luxon driving these moves.
