Been there? For starters what will constitute a “First Responder” I believe it will be limited to an “On Duty” person from Prison Service, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, and Police. My most threatening was as an Off duty ambo seeing if I could assist at an incident where Methamphetamine driven rage was present. Then there is a rural person so often first on scene so often acting alone hours from help.

There is more than sufficient law available to deal with miscreants at all levels, and situations, people just attempting to do the right thing. Then a soft cock Judge feeling sorry for a total scumbag finds every little current belief in discounting and all threat of judicial repercussions is melted away

Until the entire judiciary are forced somehow to enforce the Law and give ultimate consideration to the Innocent every where instead of the bloody criminals this is nothing more than headline seeking by a failing administration.

On past performance, colonialism, poverty, poor home life and all the inane claptrap advanced by defense council doing their duty being accepted unchallenged by Judges and it will be business as usual.
We all know plenty of people who have overcome many impediments to life who never indulge in the mindless violence that is alas becoming normal.
