They certainly didn’t fool anybody in Trump’s lawsuit case against CBS. After he rejected a $15 million settlement offer from them they have now not only completely capitulated but been humiliated.

The agreement has two separate payments, an upfront amount of $16 million. The second payment is still to be determined but it’s expected to also be an 8-figure sum that will bring the total to $30 million, but here’s the best part:

[The settlement will] cover legal fees, costs of the case, and contributions to his future presidential library or charitable causes, to be determined at Trump’s discretion.

The subsequent amount will go towards “advertisements, public service announcements, or other similar transmissions, in support of conservative causes by the network in the future.”

He should have asked for his face to be tattooed on their bums.

This is the second defamation lawsuit the MSM have lost to Trump recently. A few months ago ABC had to shell out $15 million and apologise after their lead current affairs guy George Stephanopoulos (former Bil Clinton advisor) falsely accused Trump of rape.

But the CBS lawsuit was not about any such attack on Trump, but something more subtle – CBS’s attempt to swing the 2024 election by covering up Kamala Harris’s stupidity in an interview they conducted with her. It was election interference that was the basis of the lawsuit.

Another humiliation was that CBS now has to adopt “the Trump Rule”. a mandatory rule to release complete, unedited transcripts for interviews with presidential candidates, which they refused to do in this case, and which also shows up in the opposite situation, such as this 2021 interview with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

The bad news here is that CBS chose to settle because going to a full trial would have involved a discovery process, and they clearly didn’t want that even if it meant a chance to win. Clearly they have more dirt to hide and the fact that they refused to apologise means they’ve learned nothing.

As such they are also still fooling themselves, as when CNN reporter, Natasha Bertrand, made a big splash the other day with leaked information from within the Intelligence Community (IC) claiming that the Yanks hadn’t really caused much damage at the Fordow nuclear site in Iran.

However, the big splash was only with Lefties and TDS sufferers worldwide who orgasmed on social media about this, and other MSM fools like The Grundian who regurgitated the same crap – while the rest of us noted that this was the same Natasha Bertrand who pulled the same stunt of “sources within the IC” who:

  • Claimed that Trump had colluded with the Russians to win the 2016 election, the Steele dossier, the Moscow prostitution story, etc, etc
  • Claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation.

Same again here. She didn’t inform her viewers that the report was preliminary and treated with “low confidence”. Megan Kelly ripped her to shreds in this video segment, with her guests discussing how she’s jumped from one news site to the next because her editors get tired of her bullshit:

Further I’ve heard from Democrats that she’s the easiest way to place anything you want and get it out there. And she has built her career off of these TV hits where she basically says whatever any kind of like looney tune Resistance – you know, wine mom – want to hear. They want to be told “You’re not crazy, lady. It’s not you hating your brainworms.” Actually Trump is a Russian agent this whole time, believe me. Spill the Chablis and have an afternoon. Her entire career is based off of just feeding into that madness and telling insane people, “you’re not the crazy one”, and she’s gotten away with it for so long I cannot wait for it to finally catch up with her.
