Yeah, even for her that was stretching it. As is her belief that everyone “stood up for Jacinda Ardern” with Ian Taylor.
No they didn’t Verity. Maybe in your own little echo chamber, but not in the real world.

I did not follow the Stuff/Taylor thing that closely but, my interpretation of what I read about the tenor of the comments was that Ardern and her motley crew would have been lucky to muster 20/25% support.
Ardern – emoted her way through a charade of leadership, and when faced with defeat at the polls quit and went on the speaking circuit in the USA. Cowardice written all over her actions
Churchill – fought in the Boer war, plus in a couple of other arenas, then stuffed up in WWI planning and championing the Gallipoli operation and went to the front in France for 6 months after resigning from the War Cabinet over Gallipoli and other matters.
Politically he suffer setbacks often, including getting ditched by the voting public in 1945 after being wartime PM but was PM again 1951 to 1955!!! NOTE: He didn’t run away and keep returning to the arena!!!!
Churchill was a prodigious writer – no ghost writers for him: books, articles for newspapers, papers on all sorts of Government and Military matters
Verity is the typical fan girl of a wretched figure: Besotted, addled and absolutely naive in terms of history..
