Co-governance is most definitely not maori activist’s goal: Maori sovereignty is the objective!
It is the twisting of the meaning of the Treaty of Waitangi, is the weapon they are using. The Treaty whose simple provisions made it plain that all New Zealanders, at the time of the signing of the Treaty, now became subjects of the Crown, with equal rights and protection.
There is a very small group of those of part-Maori descent, the maori tribal elite, so apparently swollen with self-importance because of one small part of their cultural inheritance that they are clamouring for co-governance of this country.
These so called leaders having been emboldened and empowered, firstly by Ardern ably continued by Hipkins and now we have Luxon, seemingly, proudly carrying the Tino Rangatiratanga flag!
We must remember that it was the Labour government, controlled by their strong maori caucus, who were initially responsible for the social damage and the erosion of democracy but now we see a coalition government, a government mandated to put a stop to the excesses of the previous six years of Labours efforts to destroy New Zealand, a government that absolutely refuses to engage in applying any form restriction of the growing influence of maori authority.
My trepidation around this co-governance fraud relates to the way it is being abetted by Prime Minister Luxon, the momentum at which it is unfolding and the “jellyfish” impersonation that Luxon portrays regarding co-governance issues.
New Zealand is sitting on a powder keg, the fuse is not yet lit but there are an ever-increasing number of people approaching the powder keg with a lighted match in the hand!

We can have co-governance without democracy.
We can have democracy without co-governance.
But we cannot have democracy and co-governance.
Democracy will only prevail if we oppose any moves towards legislated race based co-governance policies. We need to oppose co-governance for Democracy to prevail.
This letter is written by P.L.U.G. on behalf of all citizens of New Zealand, who are concerned at the lack of information, the misinformation and fear about co-governance.
