Call me curmudgeonly, but why is every second post on NM now a meme or a cartoon?! I don’t come to NM for memes, I can get them elsewhere. If authors want to post memes or cartoons, collect them up and do one posting a week.
If you want to post something topical and comment on it, that’s a different matter. I believe that used to be called “blogging”.
We are all individual contributors exiled and I as one of them posts what attracts my attention and what I think might be of interest to or give my/our readers a laugh.
BTW as my then 2 year old granddaughter used to say to me when I told her she was too close to the TV screen – `YOU ARE NOT THE ONE THAT TELLS ME THAT’.
This curmudgeonly old bastard agrees entirely on the demise of humour. I recently asked an employee in Woolworths for directions to where one might access humour in the establishment, the reaction was total puzzlement.

Looks 50/50 on this one.
Thanks kevn for your support.
Oh the perils of running and administrating a blog site voluntarily…
Personally, I enjoy everything that appears.
Keep it up pdm: Humour is in short supply in the world of today.

It was a rare visit.
