Now in a leap of inherent belief garnered from over eight decades of inquisitive seeking of natural laws that govern all that this world delivers by way of the environment, utilising basic laws of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, I have a belief that the Sun at the center of our little solar system is far and away the most influential factor in the temperature of this infinitesimal bit of matter when viewed against the enormity of “Space”? Tow Planet Earth closer or further from/to the sun, makes as much, if not more sense.

Yes a fire can influence degrees of warmth, likely initially gained as a belief, in a riverbed after gathering driftwood and gathering around it burning, with an ale in hand. One did not have to move far away to relieve the inevitable discomfort from the imbibing that amber liquid to understand the sudden loss of any warmth.

The use of fire was also a way to maintain warmth of a dwelling, often in an open fire or a coal range supplemented by floor coverings and window curtains, draft stoppers under doors and warm clothing. Today the heat pump does a simply wonderful job of such man made comfort with an added drying effect.

However there is nothing, I repeat nothing any man can do to influence the temperature that is delivered by the environment by way of manipulating the weather yet a bunch of bogus persons imbued with an inherent belief of infallibility pronounce on such matters with an announced ruling as above, beyond shelter, food and heat in very minor ways, they preach utter rubbish that flies in the face of reality as occupied by mere mortals.

If humans could literally alter what the weather gods deliver day in day out, would one not desire such manipulations to affect a deliverance from flooding and droughts that the slowly dying MSM search the world for every day to enable coverage of a disaster to lead their Opinion based infotainment?

Sub Saharan Africa has throughout my conscious life been easy pickings for such weather disaster, so often manipulated by incorrigible political managers for advantage, yet such disaster continues without relief.

These recent days of winter in the year 2025 following the birth of a little one in a manger in Bethlehem, have seen some frosts the like of which I have not experienced for around fifty years since a time spent in the northern areas of the now world renowned wine district of Waipara. Ten years there were reliably a dry frosty month of June, broken only by a few days of milder NorWest conditions around the shortest day that enabled successful spraying of the acreage of lucerne for invasive weeds.
