So apparently a “Palestinian-American” decided to gather up a bunch of her African-American (AA) friends and head off to Gaza so they could help by testifying to the world about the oppressions they would see there.

The key reason for selecting such a group was that AA’s are the most oppressed people in the USA and therefore they would understand what they saw better than most anyone else – but certainly more than any Americans and probably any Westerner.

Unfortunately what they saw, and experienced, was a shit-load of racism directed at them by Gazans, and being a) American and b) raised in a lifetime of Leftism where they’re always the victim, they were not shy about saying so.

As a result the shocked “Palestinian-American” felt she had to lay down an explanation as to why this happened and the 8m 50s video below is the result. It’s a tour de force of almost every modern Left-wing theory there is, which she undoubtedly absorbed to the bone at an American university, as she lectures and rationalises what happened. A quick synopsis of her points:

  • African-Americans would be the Palestinians greatest allies because they understand being “occupied” and oppressed.
  • But apparently this group of AA’s were more interested in playing “oppression Olympics”, “too busy victimising themselves” and “taking our their anger on all the wrong people”. This included the group leader, a woman!!!
  • The AA’s had limited understanding of the Palestinian people and cause before the trip.
  • The AA’s insisted on viewing the Gazan racism by “applying a Western lens of racial dynamics to a place where it does not apply.
  • Palestinians of all colours are the most oppressed people in their areas.
  • African-Americans may be oppressed but in Gaza their privilege is just one step below that of Israelis.
  • She’s been involved with “Black Activism” for years and knows that when she is in “Black Spaces” she knows her place; she keeps quiet and observes in order to learn, and it’s not her place to call out Black people and Black issues. But these AA’s did not observe the same rules in Palestinian spaces.
  • If it hadn’t been for her years of activism with the Black community in America and her “deep understanding of racial dynamics”, she might have been “pushed away”. But she knows that these “rotten tomatoes” do not represent the Black community and are even dangerous to both the Black and Palestinian movements.

On that last point, her “deep understanding” of many things apparently didn’t make her smart enough to spot these dangerous rotten tomatoes before starting the trip; apparently for her any bunch of Black Lefty activists were good to go – prior to the trip.

Overall the rule is that as a Westerner you are not allowed to apply your Western ideas to other societies, even the Lefty theories that you love, which can lead to “internal biases against Palestinians”, at which point she “doesn’t want you as an ally”.
