Now after being given the number two seat in the number one Red Bull team for Australia and then China Lawson was demoted back to the number two team Racing Bulls and replaced by Japanese driver for GP 3 in Japan.
Subsequently the Man in charge then, Christian Horner has been sacked.
The organisation that manipulates the eye watering expensive circus is not big on Transparency so discovering what is actually going on is not easy.
The grid for Monday does not provide clarification but the Japanese driver who replaced Lawson is at 16 while Lawson is just behind Verstappen
Go Liam Lawson you are right up there.
The classic NZ tall Poppy syndrome.
He has a high end motorsport NZ sponsor, Tony Quinn, the guy that owns the race tracks in QT, Highlands, Hampton Downs and Taupo. Quinn is not silly.
Plus his parents have gone for broke to support and get Lawson launched. They will be living the dream as well.
Look at Scott Dixon, the NZ’er working the US race car circuits very successfully.

What were the critics doing when they were 23 yo?
David Dicker who built and rebuilt after the Waiau/Rotherham quake on the inland Waiau/Kaikoura road is also a donor supporter I understand.
That didn’t load properly? Dave has established a Motor sport Track and workshops to Build “Rodin” cars on a property that was Wandle Downs owned by The Orchard Family during WW2. I spent a year of life there in the rented Craigowan House c1944 now long gone, next property north also owned by Gordon Orchard.
I assume you wanted his picture? So put it in.
GD… Indeed. Lawson has some great backers.

There’s another one barely known (and now probably past his prime??), Earl Bamber:
Respectable result to be sure…
