Bad news for White Supremacists

leave a comment »

You know that little symbol you’ve been using to communicate with eachother as a symbol of White Power?

The symbol that the Democrats, the US Left and the MSM (but I repeat myself), all went apeshit about after Trump became President?

This sign =>

Well, bad news haters. It turns out that’s wrong. We know this now, not just because President Biden used it in his poorly viewed train wreck of a “Town hall” meeting on CNN the other night,…

… but also because people who tried to claim he was flashing the WP sign have been…. fact checked! By none other than Politifact!

This started when Twitter account called “Libs of Tik Tok” – who specialise in having fun with earnest US “Liberals” – tweeted the following: bonus points to them for using the Internet meme, “literally shaking”.

Given that we live in a world where the satirical site, Babylon Bee, has found itself being “fact-checked” as a result of dealing with clueless journalists, the following should not have been a surprise, yet it still was:

Wow! Thanks for that “Fact-checkers”. Without you, clueless morons might have thought that was a real accusation. However, they did do one good thing, which was to provide some background to the nonsense of how the traditional “Okay” sign ended up being a White Power symbol.

First, a word of caution about interpreting that gesture as a white power gesture. According to the Anti-Defamation League, in 2017, members of the website 4chan falsely claimed that it represented the letters “WP” for “white power.”

“The hoaxers hoped that the media and liberals would overreact by condemning a common image as white supremacist,” the Anti-Defamation League says in this article explaining the gesture.

Hoped? That’s exactly what the dumbfucks of the US MSM and “liberals” did do – to the utter delight of the 4chan gang, who do such things on a regular basis to demonstrate how screwed up the MSM-Liberal alliance is. Why it’s as if they and the ADL don’t even know they’re being played.

While overwhelmingly people use the gesture to signify assent or approval, “as well as other usages unrelated to white supremacy,” the league says, it has also been used as a sincere expression of white supremacy.

In this case, however, the context makes clear that Biden is using the gesture to illustrate the number zero, as in how many cents he said some corporations pay in taxes.

Oh! So now “context matters.” Fantastic. It just so happens that context suddenly “matters” when a Democrat does it. Context didn’t matter for the last few years when Republican politicians, activists and even ordinary, random dudes on TV flashed it and got attacked, smeared, and in some cases canceled by online outrage mobs.

You only have to imagine the response had Trump done this. The irony is that Biden was quite happy in his early 70’s Senate career to pal around with Democrat Senators who were outright segregationists and White Supremacists.

The random online FaceTwit mobs are bad enough, but once again we see that the MSM “fact checkers” could not be more transparent in their Lefty and partisan bias.

Money printer go brrrrr…….

with 10 comments

News out from NZ Stats this morning:

The consumers price index rose 2.2 percent in the September 2021 quarter, the biggest quarterly movement since a 2.3 percent rise in the December 2010 quarter, Stats NZ said today.

Excluding quarters impacted by increases to GST rates, the September quarter movement was the highest since the June 1987 quarter, which saw a 3.3 percent rise.

The 2011 kick was due to the National government increasing the rate of GST from 12.5% to 15%.

This one is due to “money printer go brrrrrrr……..”

Speaking of which, let’s go back a decade to the wonderful Clarke and Dawe comedy bit on the last time we indulged in “Quantitative Easing” to compensate for something that was only slightly less insane than government locking down an economy.

Karl Marx’s Economic Analysis and the Theory of Revolution in The Capital.

That’s the title of an economic thesis written decades ago at Moscow State University by an American student, attending courtesy of something called the Lenin Personal Academic Scholarship.

The person is one Saule Omarova, who is now a law professor at Cornell Law School. After graduating from Moscow in 1989 she returned to the USA where she got a PhD from the University of Wisconsin. She’s also still in love with the USSR:

“Until I came to the US, I couldn’t imagine that things like gender pay gap still existed in today’s world. Say what you will about old USSR, there was no gender pay gap there. Market doesn’t always ‘know best,’” she tweeted in 2019.

Ms. Omarova thinks asset prices, pay scales, capital and credit should be dictated by the federal government. In two papers, she has advocated expanding the Federal Reserve’s mandate to include the price levels of “systemically important financial assets” as well as worker wages. …

In a recent paper “The People’s Ledger,” she proposed that the Federal Reserve take over consumer bank deposits, “effectively ‘end banking,’ as we know it,” and become “the ultimate public platform for generating, modulating, and allocating financial resources in a modern economy.”

Perhaps she’s not aware that the USSR lost the Cold War and fell apart, revealing to the world what a complete sham its communist economy had always been.

By escaping the USSR she’s managed to live the typical wealthy lifestyle of a professor at one of America’s premier universities and is now ready to move on to other things.

Like running America’s banking regulatory system.

Joe Biden has nominated Saule Omarova to be Comptroller of the Currency. It is an important position. According to the Comptroller’s web site:

The OCC charters, regulates, and supervises all national banks and federal savings associations as well as federal branches and agencies of foreign banks. The OCC is an independent bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Because of course this is what moderate, slighty left-of-centre Democrat Presidents do.

This is insane. Her nomination should be rejected with prejudice.

Is there anybody out there who still thinks it was a great idea to swap President Trump for Joe Biden?

“Unforeseen” Consequences

The foremost concern of environmentalists is, of course, the health and well being of the environment.

It’s in their name and all.

So it’s always funny and sad when environmentalists do stuff that blows up in their faces. There are countless examples but in terms of large scale screwups Germany’s decision to shut down its nuclear power stations while also trying to switch the system to wind power is probably the winner. Some €500 million over less than twenty years and all they got was an unreliable network, power prices that have more than tripled, a lot of coal still being burned, plus constantly falling short of their GHG reduction targets. On that last it should be noted that the 2020 Chinese Xi Snot lockdowns and restrictions were a huge help, but that’s not going to be true of 2021 and beyond.

That chart is from 2017 but it’s 2020 forecast of 45 cents per kilowatt hour is not far off where it is right now.

But the latest news from another group of wind farm fanatics, California, is what is really delicious.

As more renewable power has crowded the state’s power grid with traditional power sources switched off, the grid has become more unstable and also unable to meet electrical demand even when its up and running. This has resulted in increasingly frequent summertime calls for people to lay off using power in the crucial 4-9pm slot.

Faced with this, companies and even individuals have begun to turn to, of all things, diesel generators. In fact the state itself has 2,773 stationary and mobile generators in its inventory. Now you would think that the uncompromising Eco-Stasi authorities would crack down on that quick smart. But of course they know if they forced people into that corner even the Liberal Luvvies would revolt. So instead, they’re allowing this to expand and continue. In fact, they’re even helping all this fossil fuel burning along, California wants air pollution rules suspended:

The state’s main grid operator wants the U.S. Department of Energy to suspend air-pollution rules for some natural gas-burning power plants in case their output is needed “to meet demand in the face of extremely challenging conditions including extreme heat waves, multiple fires, high winds, and various grid issues,” according to a filing. The last time California received a waiver of such length and breadth was 21 years ago during the Western Energy Crisis.

Genius. And here you were thinking that the following was just a joke.

Biden’s Advance Team sends a message

Either that or they’re as incompetent as the rest of his administration was in planning the great Afghanistan bugout.

In politics an Advance Team is sent ahead of a politician to the areas where photo ops and such are going to be held after speeches and other political events. Sometimes the photo op is the political event.

In any case the idea of an Advance Team is to scope out the best areas for the photographs and avoid things that will make your candidate look bad. One of the classic faux pas happened in 1988 when the campaign staff of Democrat Presidential candidate Michael Dukakis thought he’d look tough riding around in a tank. Instead he looked like Mickey Mouse and the drumbeat of laughter helped send him on his way to a loss against the goofy George H W Bush.

Here in NZ it’s hard to forget the equally boneheaded effort by the political naif, Don Brash, trying to squeeze his clumsy, gawky frame into a dirt track race car. I shared in the hideous chuckle of laughter that went around the nation.

And so we come to this photograph of Biden during a recent visit to Idaho, a state he lost by 30 points and therefore a place where a Democrat needs to be on his toes to not get cornered by Republicans.

My favourite among the MAGA kids is the boy on the right of the picture with a tee-shirt showing Donald Trump as The Terminator (“I’ll be back”).

Masquerade

There’s so much bullshit that has attended the great Chinese Xi Snot pandemic that it’s sometimes hard to know where to start.

The lockdowns. The 2 metre seperation rule. The testing. The treatments. The vaccines.

The masks.

There has been as much to and fro on this subject as the others, starting with the Ultimate Political Medical Bureaucrat, Dr Fauci, endlessly flip-flopping. Talk about misinformation.

Then there was this from Michael Osterholm, Director of Minnesota University’s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy:

But this has been known for over a year. Back to Dr Fauci, this time in an email in February 2020

“The typical mask you buy in the drug store is not really effective in keeping out virus, which is small enough to pass through the material. It might, however, provide some slight benefit in keep out gross droplets if someone coughs or sneezes on you. I do not recommend you wear a mask”

The CDC had the same information, although it took an accidental admission to reveal the truth:

There have been more detailed studies done on masks during this pandemic and this link has a very comprehensive list of twelve studies, with links to the resulting medical papers. We’re not talking nutcase sources either. Here’s just four of them:

  1. A May 2020 meta-study on pandemic influenza published by the US CDC found that face masks had no effect, neither as personal protective equipment nor as a source control. (Source)
  2. Danish randomized controlled trial with 6000 participants, published in the Annals of Internal Medicine in November 2020, found no statistically significant effect of high-quality medical face masks against SARS-CoV-2 infection in a community setting. (Source)
  3. A large randomized controlled trial with close to 8000 participants, published in October 2020 in PLOS One, found that face masks “did not seem to be effective against laboratory-confirmed viral respiratory infections nor against clinical respiratory infection.” (Source)
  4. A February 2021 review by the European CDC found no high-quality evidence in favor of face masks and recommended their use only based on the ‘precautionary principle’. (Source)

It also linked to nine studies that claim that masks can sometimes be effective, but all of the studies had flaws:

  1. meta-study in the journal Lancet, commissioned by the WHOclaimed that masks “could” lead to a reduction in the risk of infection, but the studies considered mainly N95 respirators in a hospital setting, not cloth masks in a community setting, the strength of the evidence was reported as “low”, and experts found numerous flaws in the study. Professor Peter Jueni, epidemiologist at the University of Toronto, called the WHO study “essentially useless”.
  2. A study in the journal PNAS claimed that masks had led to a decrease in infections in three global hotspots (including New York City), but the study did not take into account the natural decrease in infections and other simultaneous measures. The study was so flawed that over 40 scientists recommended that the study be withdrawn.

The N95 mask probably can work, but the cloth masks you see everyday on people’s faces are just a joke. It should not be a surprise given that CDC announcement on smoke particles. The initial thinking was that the virus spread via droplets expelled by sneezing and coughing sufferers of Covid-19, but since then it’s been demonstrated that the virus can move through the air in very small drops or even on its own.

As a result the following charts should not be a surprise either:

This, finally, is where this insanity ends. In an act of lawful evil.

Hey! I thought that knee stuff went out the window after George Floyd? Still an approved technique in the NZ Police obviously.

In any case had the NZ guy died though it wouldn’t have mattered. Victims of police brutality are either politically approved or politically unapproved, and the NZ guy falls into the former category.

Could be worse. That guy was arrested and handcuffed because he refused to wear a mask indoors. Over in News South Wales a father got arrested and handcuffed for not wearing one outdoors while walking with his daughter. I wonder how much confidence she’ll have in the cops for the rest of her life.

All for a masquerade.

According to Medical Experts, these people are not insane.

You see, the screen capture here is that of a joke. Some fun being made of people driven insane with fear by the Chinese Lung Rot virus.

Unfortunately once you’ve finished chuckling at that, or perhaps a Babylon Bee satire on such things, you then have to face the dreadful reality that there are such people.

And they walk among us – not spreading the Xi Snot virus of course, but something much worse.

Insanity

Perhaps this is the grim, forseeable future that Mr Baker warned about the other day?

Art for Afghanistan’s sake

Despite a love of books I endured English only as far as I had to take it in high school, which was up to the end of 6th Form (Year 12 it is now called). Funnily enough that last year was the one I enjoyed the most as various books and essays had to be analysed.

Earlier English courses were broader, covering things like art and poetry.

I hated poetry.

Despite hating it (or perhaps because of that) there were certain types of poetry and art that stuck in the mind although the details are long lost. One of them was “Concrete Poetry”. The other was Dadaism:

… the Dada movement consisted of artists who rejected the logic, reason, and aestheticism of modern capitalist society, instead expressing nonsense, irrationality, and anti-bourgeois protest in their works.[4][5][6] The art of the movement spanned visual, literary, and sound media, including collage, sound poetry, cut-up writing, and sculpture.

Ah yes. The boy who loved science, logic, reason, and rationality was really going to fall for this stuff. It was crap. Our entire class thought it was crap, including those who would go on to do university degrees in English. Luckily we had an English teacher (huge, ginger afro and beard) who was more than happy to hear such blunt critiques and be amused by them.

So it has been with a sense of amusement and despair that I have watched a video going viral around the Interwebby that shows Afghan women being taught about Dadaism in 2015. The key view is at 31 seconds:

Incredible is it not? American taxpayers paid for this, as well as many, many other such things, as Cockburn explains at the Spectator:

So, alongside the billions for bombs went hundreds of millions for gender studies in Afghanistan. According to US government reports, $787 million was spent on gender programs in Afghanistan, but that substantially understates the actual total, since gender goals were folded into practically every undertaking America made in the country.

A recent report from the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) broke down the difficulties of the project. For starters, in both Dari and Pastho there are no words for ‘gender’. That makes sense, since the distinction between ‘sex’ and ‘gender’ was only invented by a sexually-abusive child psychiatrist in the 1960s, but evidently Americans were caught off-guard.

The initiatives piled up one after another. Do-gooders established a ‘National Masculinity Alliance’, so a few hundred Afghan men could talk about their ‘gender roles’ and ‘examine male attitudes that are harmful to women’.

Challenging. In every sense of the word.

Under the US’s guidance, Afghanistan’s 2004 constitution set a 27 percent quota for women in the lower house — higher than the actual figure in America! A strategy that sometimes required having women represent provinces they had never actually been to. Remarkably, this experiment in ‘democracy’ created a government few were willing to fight for, let alone die for.

Probably the exact opposite, as Never Yet Melted suggests:

Western elites let Afghans see what Western elite culture is like. Naturally, and inevitably, they took down their AK-47s from the wall and fought tooth and nail to prevent being assimilated into that!

It should also be noted that Dadism arose in Germany after WWI in reaction to the waste, horror and futility of that war and was driven by the radical Left, who used it to attack everything they hated about the West. It was one of the centrepieces of the early German Wiemar period of government and fit perfectly with the uselessness and decadence of Weimar culture.

Perhaps that means we’ll see Dadism soon reborn in the USA, using MRE’s, PortaPotties, MRAPS and HumVees as the objects of art. The whole ethos would be a perfect fit for the American now. I’m also reminded of the famous final scene from the movie Cabaret.

As Law Professor Glenn Reynolds noted on his Instapundit blog:

“The American political/academic/managerial class is made up largely of buffoons. It’s hilarious, except for it being so toxic and deadly.”

Your new Taliban 2.0

Salaam Alaikum.

You’ve been that friend who rejoices with friends in their good times and sticks with them through the bad times.

Congratulations on your purchase and installation of the new Taliban 2.0 Operating System.

We realise that twenty years is a long time to wait for an upgrade but thanks to a donation of $1 trillion from US taxpayers and a lot of blood, toil, tears and sweat (mainly blood), we’re back.

And better than ever.

The original Taliban OS was specifically designed to run on the Afghan hardware platform, and while this is still the best fit we are making great strides in enabling the OS to be rigid and powerful enough to bend any environment to its will.

The key performance OS component supporting this functionality is the Sharia Law Memory Management system, which allows you to select and wipe away any development since the 7th century. In particular the system can quickly render 57 Western genders into just two: male and breeding stock.

Backing this up is a new and more powerful Loading and Execution engine which enables thousands of non-conforming hardware units to be quickly deleted, based on your customisable preferences, thus enabling a clean reset of your hardware environment whenever desired.

The LE engine has been combined with advances in Security Management, with the new Door-To-Door biometric track and trace function, which enables surgical precision in wiping out incompatible hardware while still allowing mass deletions if so desired.

The Device Management engine has also been significantly enhanced. We know how well you’ve done with backpacks, mules, AK-74s and RPGs. But think what you’ll be able to do with BlackHawk and Mi-17 helicopters, A-29 Super Tucano attack planes, $3 million ScanEagle drones, armoured Humvees and MRAPs.

However, the advance of which we are most proud has been with the I/O Management function which enables Taliban 2.0 to know more about the outside world, specifically Americans, than they know about Taliban 2.0.

These features allow Taliban 2.0 to smoothly integrate with most Social Media apps. This integration is even superior to that of former President “Cursed Infidel Slayer” Trump, such is the degree of functional conformity between Taliban 2.0 and the likes of Twitter and Facebook.

Included at no cost in your package is a 24/7/365 public relations support centre, SIG (Submissive Infidel Dogs), which includes the Washington Post and other Bacha Bazi.

But the key advance here is the Gen 21 Trolling Shit Post feature which will enable you to mercilessly mock your loser Western enemies even as they grovel at your feet asking about the “existential crisis” they’re sure you’re suffering from in the light of total victory. Here are just two examples of this powerful feature.

In the first, the Gen 21 TSP has taken the images on the left of the ambulatory root vegetable known as “President” Biden licking ice cream while being fellated about it by the US MSM – and converted them into fun pix of yourselves with your ice creams, all while deleting the disgusting acts of fellation.

In the second example the I/O Management engine has worked with the Device Management engine to clothe Holy Warriors in US combat gear and then rendered them and our company logo from a famous historic US memory.

Your trolling mockery of the USA will never stop with Gen 21 TSP.

Finally, if you – or more likely your “friends” – happen to be in the USA on a mission and need assistance all you have to do is contact us, use our American slogan, “BennyDrama7”,** and we’ll give you all the support you need while getting out of your way as quickly as possible.

Allahu Akbar.

** CAUTION: It is essential that you not eat for 24 hours before clicking on BennyDrama7.

The Age of Men is over. The Time of The Orc has come.

This will not be news for people who play Dungeons and Dragons, the now almost fifty year old, role-playing game beloved by generations of nerds.

Dungeons and Dragons goes woke.

Well shit! What hasn’t been going woke recently? From the article a bit of background for non D&D’rs.

The science-fiction fantasy game was created in 1974 by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson. Players pretend to be fantasy characters who are guided through adventures and scenarios by a dungeon master.

By the early 1980’s, thanks to some insane and talented coders, I was playing a crude version of it with mates on our university’s computer system: the Digital Equipment Manufacturer (DEC) VAX 11/780, a 32-bit “minicomputer” that was far more attractive to learn on than the more common but huge IBM mainframes with their clunking batch-processing oriented architecture. Naturally we had to play the game in the wee small hours of the morning because 128Mb of RAM only goes so far even with a superb time-sharing OS. Typically for the times, nobody thought of commercialising it. After all, what computers could run such a thing from the comfort of your home?

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Anyhoo, I stopped playing it, whether on computers or in the traditional board version, as soon as I graduated. I thought it had been left behind with the world of nerds. It’s therefore been with baffled amusement that I’ve seen the Millennial and Gen Z generations glom on to it in recent years, with huge online viewing of D&D games on things like the live-streaming site, Twitch. (9 million viewers for one game in 2017: eat that TVNZ).

Because we lived in a vastly less inter-connected world, we weren’t aware for some years that D&D had played a significant role in the great 1980’s Satanic Panic bullshit, all because of one dickhead private “dick” hired by a family to find their missing 15-year old boy genius in 1979 – who just happened to be totally into D&D. There were others:

The panic continued into 1982 when Virginian high school student Irving Lee Pulling II killed himself. Patricia A. Pulling, his mother, claimed the game was responsible and founded ‘Bothered About Dungeons & Dragons.’ In 1984, Missouri teenager, Mary C. Towey, was strangled to death by Ronald G. Adcox and Darren Lee Molitor. What connected both cases? They all played D&D.

As you can imagine, by the time I and other nerds heard about this panic some years later it was merely good for uproarious laughter, scorn and ridicule of the moralising idiots pushing all the panic. It’s probably not surprising that sales went from from thousands per year to millions.

Which brings us to the moralising dickheads of today:

‘Throughout the 50-year history of D&D, some of the peoples in the game — orcs and drow being two of the prime examples — have been characterized as monstrous and evil, using descriptions that are painfully reminiscent of how real-world ethnic groups have been and continue to be denigrated,’ the statement reads. ‘That’s just not right, and it’s not something we believe in.

Oh FFS! What a complete and total load of crap. But it also ties in so well with other such developments, such as the drive to pervert the works of that dreaded Catholic Conservative, J.R.R. Tolkien (from which D&D took much inspiration), with a new Lord Of The Rings spinoff that’s going to employ all that hot and saucy Game of Thrones stuff, no doubt with really cool Elvish sex action among other things.

Ok. Let me think about that last a bit more.

Anyway, the problem with trying to pull this with D&D is that the gamers themselves will subvert it just as thoroughly as they did the “Satanic” bullshit.

‘The beauty of D&D is that players can ignore the official storylines, narratives, maps and characters if they find them ridiculous,’ radio host and D&D junkie Larry O’Connor told The Spectator. ‘So this entire exercise is performative to get attention but the actual players will just look the other way and laugh.’

They already are.

Even that isn’t new. Way back in 2003 McSweeney’s Quarterly took a witheringly precise slice at a supposedly “unused audio of a discussion between Howard Zinn and Noam Chomsky”:

CHOMSKY: The film opens with Galadriel speaking. “The world has changed,” she tells us, “I can feel it in the water.” She’s actually stealing a line from the non-human Treebeard. He says this to Merry and Pippin in The Two Towers, the novel. Already we can see who is going to be privileged by this narrative and who is not.

ZINN: Of course. “The world has changed.” I would argue that the main thing one learns when one watches this film is that the world hasn’t changed. Not at all.

CHOMSKY: We should examine carefully what’s being established here in the prologue. For one, the point is clearly made that the “master ring,” the so-called “one ring to rule them all,” is actually a rather elaborate justification for preemptive war on Mordor.

ZINN: I think that’s correct. Tolkien makes no attempt to hide the fact that rings are wielded by every other ethnic enclave in Middle Earth. The Dwarves have seven rings, the Elves have three. The race of Man has nine rings, for God’s sake. There are at least 19 rings floating around out there in Middle Earth, and yet Sauron’s ring is supposedly so terrible that no one can be allowed to wield it. Why?

CHOMSKY: Notice too that the “war” being waged here is, evidently, in the land of Mordor itself — at the very base of Mount Doom. These terrible armies of Sauron, these dreadful demonized Orcs, have not proved very successful at conquering the neighboring realms — if that is even what Sauron was seeking to do. It seems fairly far-fetched.
