Would be funny if it wasn’t so frightening.

And as Clarkson shows, the only reason he’s survived so far is his income from his other TV shows. I’d watch it but I have a feeling that it would be as grim as it is funny.
Watch it. Great entertainment just far enough removed from our lot to be that.
I just commented the other day on your post about recently watching Country Calendar and it’s such a contrast.
But TBF the Brits have long had TV shows about farming that are like our CC – and they haven’t had the same impact on people’s awareness and thinking that Clarkson’s show has either.
Tom, Clarkson’s Farm is not CC, or anything like it (unless you go back to the days when Fred was playing the fence).
It’s more one man, with the help of his friends, trying to run any small business.
It’s very seldom I look forward to television series (Hell On Wheels was the last one) but I do this.
Already they are talking that series 4 will be the last, already the mourning has begun – and they haven’t even started filming 4 yet.
It’s an amazing show, just because it shows the sheer insanity of both central and local government
