Barry Soper: Govt stands firm over changes to Oranga Tamariki mandate

Children’s Minister Karen Chhour is facing the Waitangi Tribunal in the High Court today,  in a challenge to her summons. The tribunal summonsed the ninister to respond to their concerns over plans to repeal section 7AA of the Oranga Tamariki Act.

It ensures the ministry has regard to a child’s whakapapa, and the whanaungatanga responsibilities of whanau.

Commonts on the unfolding situation from Shane Jones and David Seymour have been criticised by Prime Minister. Newstalk ZB’s Senior Political Correspondent Barry Soper told Heather du Plessis-Allan it’s a tricky case – but the government is standing firm on its changes to the law.

Children’s Minister Karen Chhour says while the camps will be tough, they’ll also help young people turn their lives around.

Is this not the most disgraceful thing you’ve ever read?

A bunch of completely unelected and unrepresentative scum are allowing a bunch of completely unelected and unrepresentative (except of treasonous scum) scum to question the people YOU elected to represent YOU with the am of offering some sort of approval (or otherwise) to YOUR representatives.

A real Government would immediately arrest ALL those “Judges”, racists, and other scum, charge therm with treason, skip the trial (the scum are clearly treasonous bastards and therefore guilty), ship them to the Auckland Isles and tell them to try the penguins – or hang the bastards which would immediately make them useful in a Democracy – as light entertainment.

The spelling mistakes above are theirs – representative of the quality (or lack there-of) of the entire episode.
